Urinary tract diseases are a common problem in cats. In many cases for male cats, acute problems can arise in connection with this. Urinary tract diseases are quite dangerous, and you should always go to the vet if your cat cannot urinate normally.
βSkin problems
The skin of the cat has several functions. Among other things, it should protect the cat from injuries and maintain the moisture balance in the body. The skin also protects the cat against solar radiation and helps regulate the temperature. In case of problems with the skin, itching often occurs, which the cat shows by licking itself intensively.
βPoison goiter
Toxic goiter or hyperthyroidism is one of the most common hormonal diseases in older cats. Symptoms usually appear from about the age of 8, but from the age of 4 and above the cat can be affected. Toxic goiter means that the cat produces more thyroid hormone than normal.
