What diagnostic tests do you cover?

Diagnostic tests are routine investigations used by your vet to diagnose, assess or monitor your pet's condition. The cost of these tests can be covered within your Veterinary Fees benefit limit.

Examples include, but are not limited to:

  • Blood tests

  • Urine and faecal tests

  • X-rays

  • Ultrasound scans


Special Diagnostic Tests

Special Diagnostic Tests are more advanced investigations that are usually more complex and expensive than routine diagnostic tests. These tests often require specialist equipment, procedures or expertise. The cost of these tests is covered under a separate benefit limit, depending on your policy type.

Examples include, but are not limited to:

  • MRI scans

  • CT scans

  • Endoscopy procedures
