Yes, the difference will be refunded.
The system may temporarily reserve a higher amount than the price of the suggested alternative item, as the final price of the product may vary. This is done to ensure that sufficient funds are available in case a more expensive alternative is selected.
If the final order amount is lower than the reserved amount, the difference is automatically refunded to your bank account after the order has been completed.
