Who This Is For
Marketing teams, intake teams, and firm administrators using Lawmatics
What the Lawmatics Integration Does
The Lawmatics integration allows Lawbrokr to push intake data directly into your Lawmatics account.
When connected, Lawbrokr:
Creates a Contact record in Lawmatics
Pushes all intake response data into the Case Summary & Notes section
This ensures your intake team has full context inside Lawmatics without manual data entry.
How the Integration Works
The integration uses a secure OAuth connection with Lawmatics.
The workflow looks like this:
A potential client completes a Lawbrokr intake
Lawbrokr creates a new Contact in Lawmatics
All structured intake responses are added to the Case Summary & Notes section
Intake teams can immediately review the submission inside Lawmatics
Lawbrokr does not overwrite existing records. If a Contact already exists, Lawmatics’ standard matching behavior applies based on your configuration.
Connecting Lawmatics to Lawbrokr
To connect Lawmatics:
Log in to Lawbrokr
Go to Settings
Select Integrations
Choose Lawmatics
Click Add
Authenticate using your Lawmatics credentials
Once authenticated, the integration is active.
No additional field mapping is required.
Where Intake Data Appears in Lawmatics
After a successful submission:
A Contact record is created in Lawmatics
The full Lawbrokr intake is written into the Case Summary & Notes section
This includes:
Contact details
Answers to all intake questions
Context captured throughout the workflow
This approach keeps your Lawmatics records clean while preserving the full intake narrative.
What This Integration Does Not Do
It is important to understand the scope of the integration.
The Lawmatics integration:
Does not automatically create Matters
Does not upload documents
Does not map responses to custom Lawmatics fields - unless you build with Zapier
Its purpose is to deliver complete intake context into Lawmatics efficiently and consistently.
Best Practices
Review new Contacts promptly inside Lawmatics
Use the Case Summary & Notes as the source of truth for intake context
Combine with Lawbrokr Response Management for qualification decisions
Use Lawbrokr Automations for follow up, not manual emails
This setup works best when intake review processes are clearly defined.
Common Mistakes
Expecting Matter creation instead of Contact creation
Looking for individual custom fields instead of the Case Summary & Notes
Forgetting to test the integration after connecting
Assuming document uploads are supported
