Integrating HubSpot with Lawbrokr

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Who This Is For

Marketing teams, intake teams, and firm administrators using HubSpot

What the HubSpot Integration Does

The HubSpot integration allows Lawbrokr to push intake data directly into your HubSpot account.

When connected, Lawbrokr:

  • Creates a new Contact or Lead record in HubSpot

  • Pushes all intake response data into the Notes field on the record

This ensures your marketing and intake teams can review full intake context inside HubSpot without manual data entry.

How the Integration Works

The integration uses a secure OAuth connection with HubSpot.

The workflow looks like this:

  1. A potential client completes a Lawbrokr intake

  2. Lawbrokr creates a new Contact or Lead in HubSpot

  3. All structured intake responses are written into the Notes section

  4. Teams can immediately review the submission inside HubSpot

Lawbrokr does not overwrite existing records. If a matching Contact already exists, HubSpot’s standard contact handling rules apply based on your account configuration.

Connecting HubSpot to Lawbrokr

To connect HubSpot:

  1. Log in to Lawbrokr

  2. Go to Settings

  3. Select Integrations

  4. Choose HubSpot

  5. Click Add

  6. Authenticate using your HubSpot credentials

Once authenticated, the integration is active.

No additional field mapping is required.

Where Intake Data Appears in HubSpot

After a successful submission:

  • A Contact or Lead record is created in HubSpot

  • The full Lawbrokr intake appears in the Notes section

This includes:

  • Contact information

  • Answers to all intake questions

  • Context captured during the workflow

This approach keeps HubSpot data clean while preserving the complete intake narrative.

What This Integration Does Not Do

It is important to understand the scope of the integration.

The HubSpot integration:

  • Does not automatically create Deals

  • Does not upload documents

  • Does not map responses into custom HubSpot properties

Its purpose is to deliver complete intake context into HubSpot quickly and reliably.

Best Practices

  • Review new Contacts or Leads promptly inside HubSpot

  • Use the Notes section as the primary intake reference

  • Pair with Lawbrokr Response Management for qualification decisions

  • Use HubSpot workflows for downstream follow-up

This setup works best when intake review and CRM workflows are clearly defined.

Common Mistakes

  • Expecting Deal creation instead of Contact or Lead creation

  • Looking for intake data in custom properties

  • Forgetting to test the integration after connecting

  • Assuming document uploads are supported
