Integrating CloudLex with Lawbrokr

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Who This Is For

Marketing teams, intake teams, and firm administrators using CloudLex

What the CloudLex Integration Does

The CloudLex integration allows Lawbrokr to push intake data directly into your CloudLex account.

When connected, Lawbrokr:

  • Creates a new Opportunity in CloudLex

  • Pushes all intake response data into the Opportunity record

This ensures your intake team can review complete intake information inside CloudLex without manual data entry.

How the Integration Works

The CloudLex integration uses authenticated credentials provided by CloudLex rather than a traditional OAuth flow.

The workflow looks like this:

  1. A potential client completes a Lawbrokr intake

  2. Lawbrokr creates a new Opportunity in CloudLex

  3. All structured intake responses are attached to the Opportunity

  4. Intake teams can immediately review the submission inside CloudLex

Lawbrokr does not overwrite existing Opportunities. If CloudLex detects a matching record, its standard behavior applies based on your account configuration.

Connecting CloudLex to Lawbrokr

To connect CloudLex, you will need credentials provided by CloudLex.

Required information:

  • CloudLex Subscription Key

  • CloudLex Auth Token

To connect CloudLex:

  1. Log in to Lawbrokr

  2. Go to Settings

  3. Select Integrations

  4. Choose CloudLex

  5. Enter your Subscription Key

  6. Enter your CloudLex Auth Token

  7. Save and activate the integration

Once saved, the integration is active.

No additional field mapping is required.

Where Intake Data Appears in CloudLex

After a successful submission:

  • A new Opportunity is created in CloudLex

  • All Lawbrokr intake responses are visible within the Opportunity record

This includes:

  • Contact information

  • Answers to all intake questions

  • Context captured throughout the workflow

This keeps CloudLex data clean while preserving the full intake narrative.

What This Integration Does Not Do

It is important to understand the scope of the integration.

The CloudLex integration:

  • Does not automatically create a Case

  • Does not upload documents

  • Does not map responses into custom CloudLex fields

Its purpose is to deliver complete intake context into CloudLex efficiently and consistently.

Best Practices

  • Confirm your Subscription Key and Auth Token are current

  • Test the integration with a live submission after setup

  • Review Opportunities promptly inside CloudLex

  • Pair with Lawbrokr Response Management for intake decisions

This setup works best when intake review processes are clearly defined.

Common Mistakes

  • Entering expired or incorrect CloudLex credentials

  • Expecting Case creation instead of Opportunity creation

  • Looking for intake data outside the Opportunity record

  • Forgetting to test the integration after setup
