Integrating Lawcus with Lawbrokr

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Who This Is For

Marketing teams, intake teams, and firm administrators using Lawcus

What the Lawcus Integration Does

The Lawcus integration allows Lawbrokr to push intake data directly into your Lawcus account.

When connected, Lawbrokr:

  • Creates a Lead in Lawcus

  • Pushes all intake response data into the newly created lead record

This ensures your intake team can review new inquiries inside Lawcus without manual data entry.

How the Integration Works

The integration uses a secure OAuth connection with Lawcus.

The workflow looks like this:

  1. A potential client completes a Lawbrokr intake

  2. Lawbrokr authenticates with Lawcus via OAuth

  3. A new Lead is created in Lawcus

  4. All structured intake responses are attached to the lead

  5. Intake teams can immediately review the submission inside Lawcus

Lawbrokr does not overwrite existing leads. If Lawcus detects a matching record, its standard lead handling behavior applies based on your Lawcus configuration.

Connecting Lawcus to Lawbrokr

To connect Lawcus:

  1. Log in to Lawbrokr

  2. Go to Settings

  3. Select Integrations

  4. Choose Lawcus

  5. Click Add

  6. Authenticate using your Lawcus credentials

Once authenticated, the integration is active.

No additional field mapping is required.

Where Intake Data Appears in Lawcus

After a successful submission:

  • A Lead record is created in Lawcus

  • The full Lawbrokr intake appears within the lead record

This includes:

  • Contact information

  • Answers to all intake questions

  • Context captured during the workflow

This keeps Lawcus data clean while preserving the complete intake narrative.

What This Integration Does Not Do

It is important to understand the scope of the integration.

The Lawcus integration:

  • Does not automatically create Matters or Cases

  • Does not upload documents

  • Does not map responses into custom Lawcus fields

Its purpose is to deliver complete intake context into Lawcus efficiently and reliably.

Best Practices

  • Review new leads promptly inside Lawcus

  • Convert qualified leads after intake review

  • Pair with Lawbrokr Response Management for lead qualification

  • Use Lawbrokr Automations for consistent follow up

This setup works best when intake review and lead management processes are aligned.

Common Mistakes

  • Expecting Matter or Case creation instead of Lead creation

  • Looking for intake data outside the lead record

  • Forgetting to test the integration after connecting

  • Assuming document uploads are supported
