4. Note that the MLTT calculations will be applied
5. Closer will have the vacant home tax applicable selected by default
You must ensure this remains checked off for your information to translate to your documents correctly
6. Click sale documents
7. Click documents
8. Click add
9. Click add documents
10. Click all
11. Click search documents and type in statutory declaration - vacant home tax
12. Click the search option and type in statutory declaration - vacant home tax and add the document to your file
13. Click statutory declaration - vacant home tax
14. To confirm occupancy status and to provide adequate proof to the purchaser(s), the appropriate paragraph has now been populated into your statutory declaration, which may be viewed in the preview
15. Click add
16. Click add documents
17. In the search bar, type in declaration of possession and add the document to your file
18. Click declaration of possession
19. In the preview, you will note the applicable statements needed within your declaration of possession have been added to your document
20. Click finances
21. Click adjustments
22. Click add adjustment
23. Click vacant home tax
24. Here, you will input all necessary information. Pay careful attention to assessed value of the property
You have the option to ensure you have had the property appraised and may use that figure, or you may wish to instead include the sale price
25. Click save
26. The corresponding figures will now be included within your statement of adjustments, should there be an adjustment to account for
