13 STEPS
1. For all vacant home tax functionalities, you will want to first start here on the property tab
2. Click property details
3. Type in the name of the jurisdiction
a list will populate, and you may choose the appropriate jurisdiction
4. Select the jurisdiction
5. Closer will default to have the vacant home tax applicable box selected. You must ensure this remains enabled for your information to translate correctly
6. A paragraph regarding the vacant home tax will now be visible in your requisitions letter
To view, click on the requisitions tab
7. You will see the paragraph has been entered into your document in the viewer on the right hand side of the page
This will ensure the vendor provides your client(s) adequate evidence of the occupancy status for the subject property
8. For all necessary documentation, click purchase documents
9. Click documents
10. The Statutory Declaration will be included within a file titled vacant home tax
11. Click statutory declaration - vacant home/unit (purchase)
12. To produce the remaining documents, return to the documents menu and click on vendor documents
13. To confirm occupancy status, the appropriate paragraph has now been populated into your declaration of possession, which may be viewed within the vendor documents on the right hand side of the page
