1. Click title insurance.

2. Click add title insurance.

3. To order title insurance via our integration with FCT, select the First Canadian Title box.

Otherwise, choose the manual entry option.

4. Click continue.

5. If you're missing any fields on your file that are required for a quote and/or order, they'll be displayed here.

Clicking on each field will take you to the respective area of Closer to enter the missing information.
​

6. Enter details in the missing field. In this example, entering the principal amount/loan amount is required for your order.

7. Once you've entered the missing information, click the title insurance button to return to your order.

8. You now have enough information to get quote and can proceed with one if desired.

9. Click start order.

10. You will now be presented with the FCT portal. Make final selections within the portal to complete your order submission.

11. To return to Closer, click back to file.

12. Depending on the nature of your order, it may be completed immediately, or require further time/action before completion (i.e. sent to underwriting). If an order is not completed immediately, Closer will display the status from FCT.

13. Should you need to change the property type, select the edit icon.

14. This will bring you to property details where you can amend the property type, if necessary.

Click the title insurance tab to return to your order.

15. You can view your FCT contact details here.

16. You may also wish to add main contact.

17. Enter contact information details and click Save.

18. You may switch your provider by clicking on switch provider.

19. Here you will be given the option of choosing a new provider, or selecting our manual entry option.

Select a provider and click continue.

20. Return to this page to access your title insurance confirmation package once the order has been completed.
