Feature Enhancements:
We redesigned the "Contracts" header - it's compact and responsive, leaving more room for contract details and the document preview while remaining easier to use across screen sizes. It also improves key actions like breadcrumbs, secondary actions, editable contract type, and expiry reminders, plus status updates can now be added more smoothly from the header. The updated preview and panel behavior keep Assistant and Quick Search accessible.
We updated the LawVu Assistant to make conversations easier to read by improving formatting, hiding internal reasoning, using familiar terminology, and making the chat interface less cluttered and more responsive. We also added smarter safeguards like duplicate detection and invoice batch awareness, which help reduce rework, surface relevant context sooner, and keep users moving faster with fewer mistakes.
The upgraded Outlook approvals framework improves compatibility across Outlook for Mobile, Outlook for Mac, and classic Windows Outlook, so users are less likely to fall back to plain notification emails. It also keeps the experience interactive for contract and invoice approvals and gives the team a reusable foundation for richer notifications in other workflows.
Invoices now have citations and their own Assistant context - The Assistant can understand the batch or invoice you’re viewing and answer questions more naturally in context. It also lets you ask broader invoice questions and jump straight to the relevant records, closing a feature gap with search and improving parity across the OS for spend customers.
Bugfixes:
General conversations failed to appear immediately after matter creation.
An invoice appeared as 'approved", even though one approver had yet to approve it.
