Product Enhancements:

  • Now you can use the new 'Internal Notes' field to include any additional context for an invoice you add to LawVu. These notes will be visible to any of your LawVu users with the 'Manage Invoices' permission enabled.

  • When an LSP uploads an invoice, they can use the new 'Invoice Description' field to add context. If the invoice is a LEDES file, the field will auto-populate with the description from the invoice.

Bugfixes:

  • When an LSP user with 'manage invoices' permission enabled uploaded an invoice and added a description, it didn't pull through to the Client portal.

  • A user was unable to delete pending invoices in the Engage module.

  • When trying to send a message/note through the Conversations panel, an 'error creating message' appeared.

  • When a Business user clicked the 'create matter' button and nothing happened, they kept clicking it, which created multiple matters.

  • A Contract Owner and their Delegate failed to receive the 30-day contract expiry notification.

  • When a Business user filled in all the necessary fields on a completion form and clicked 'done', the contract didn't move to the 'executed' stage.

  • An LSP user creating matters on their Client's behalf noticed that the 'other party' field didn't display all the values entered for that field.

  • A user in the Business Portal who tried to move a contract to the 'executed' stage, could not complete the contract completion form.

  • The DocuSign integration skipped the Recipient input step and moved directly to the document tagging view.

319.1

  • We rolled back the fix for external users not being added to the email recipient list when conversations were created by emailing the matter email address.
