Bugfixes:

  • During functional testing of contract approval and decline in the LawVu iOS app, the 'pending' icon needed to be added to the list of approvers.

  • During user acceptance testing, we noted that Matter and Contract Administrators could link/unlink records in the related records panel when they were limited members.

  • When performing functional testing of the soon-to-be-release invoice approval workflow feature, when an invoice related to a matter needed approval, it showed up in the user's 'actions' list as an invoice related to a contract that needed approval.

    • When an invoice was opened from an "approval pending" notification, the linked matter didn't appear.

  • During functional testing of the yet-to-be-released third version of the Outlook add-in, when a user selected the "quick save" option, their files weren't saved to the corresponding matter and contract.

    • The tracking panel appeared even when a user wasn't logged in.

    • When saving a file, a user noted that instead of seeing a suggestion with a full, usable filename, only the last letter or character appeared.

    • When a user tracked an email and changed the selected email, LawVu mistakenly tracked the second email, even though you didn't specifically tell it to.

    • The token refreshing system didn't work correctly, so multiple refresh tokens were asked for at the same time, causing the user to be unable to do anything.

    • When a user selected certain emails, the option to attach files didn't appear because of an issue with the change detection system.

    • A user writing an email encountered an error message when LawVu couldn't retrieve the conversation ID that groups emails belonging to the same conversation together.

    • There was no horizontal scroll bar when a user needed to search for a folder with a long file name.

    • The tracking banner that let users know when an email was being tracked contained a click target that was too small, so we made the entire banner clickable.

    • In the file browser, when a user switched emails and hit the "back" button, it took them to the previous email they viewed instead of the place they were before.

    • A user who didn't have access to a private folder could still see the files within it that were being tracked.

    • The "reparse" feature, which is designed to reprocess emails for information, wasn't working correctly due to a problem with how permissions are handled between different parts of the software.

    • The change detection system, which recognizes when users have made changes, ran too quickly, so when a user clicked the 'save' button, the options they expected to see (where to save the file, file name, etc.) didn't appear right away.

    • The "Quick Save" button, which should let users easily save emails to matters, didn't show up immediately when a user opened the Outlook add-in. They had to switch tabs to make it appear.

    • When they created a new contract, a user saw a "save as the latest version" button.

    • When they signed into the desktop version of the add-in, a user kept getting signed out when they selected the 'refresh' option.

    • When a user replied to an email on the desktop version of Outlook, the button to attach files was greyed out and prevented them from easily adding attachments.

  • A user performing regression testing received notifications about actions they needed to take in the Business Portal. However, when they went to the Business Portal to find these actions, they didn't appear on the "My Actions" list.

  • Recent changes to LawVu's "alert service," which is responsible for notifications about tasks, introduced a slowdown. Specifically, when users tried to load their list of actions (like invoices or contracts to approve), it took much longer than it should.
