Bugfixes:

  • During functional testing of the invoice approval workflow feature, the software incorrectly showed success messages when you tried to update or assign workflows even though the changes were blocked due to errors, such as having inactive users as approvers.

  • When performing functional testing of the approved invoice forwarding feature, a user noted that when invoices without an assigned workflow were approved, the email notifications sent to accounts payable (AP) personnel did not include information about the last approver, time/date of approval, and the total invoice fee.

  • During functional testing of the feature that lets users edit a contract's execution date:

    • The 'executed' date was editable for a contract that never reached that stage.

    • The date format for the 'executed' date didn't align with the user's region and browser settings.

    • A user could enter a future date for the 'executed' date using their keyboard and not the date picker.

    • The software failed to record a "cleared executed date" entry in the activity logs when a voided contract was reopened in 'draft' mode.

    • The 'expiry' date couldn't be updated.

    • When an executed contract was moved back to 'draft', instead of the 'executed' date in the datepicker being empty, the old execution date remained.

  • When performing regression testing for contracts, a user with only the 'preview contracts' permission enabled could replace the contract document.

  • A user in one organization reported that when they deleted a choice from the 'department' field, it still appeared in 'Matter Details' and as an option in the field's 'settings' when applied to a matter type.

  • Users in multiple organizations weren't able to create matters because the software incorrectly identified that they lacked the necessary "Organisation Admin" permission when, in fact, their roles and permissions were correct.

  • When a user in one organization sent a new user invite, they didn't receive an invitation email, and the 'resend invitation' button was missing. When the LawVu staff resent the invitation, the user received it and activated their account but got an 'internal error' message when they tried to log in.

  • In some contracts, the 'expiry' date field was only editable if users refreshed their browsers or their browser cache.

  • During functional testing of the Workspace Intelligence feature:

    • While working in the Knowledge Base, users with the "manage articles and documents" permission could see and access draft articles in search results. Users without this permission could see the articles in search results when they clicked on the link to open them, but they saw a message indicating they didn't have permission to view them.

    • In conversations with the WI chat agent, it offered drafted contract clauses and legal advice, which are blacklisted.

    • When a user was assigned actions and tasks in a matter and asked why they were on the matter in their query, the response message was different multiple times.
