Sometimes, a user may need to review captured data and make changes before syncing to their CRM, or generally sync/resync leads after the event. This guide goes through the steps of taking a one-time manual sync action on captured prospects. Whether you need to sync the prospects for the first time or resync/update them on your CRM, this guide is for you!

Re-Syncing Previously Successful Leads
For leads that have already been synced to Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics, re-taking the sync action is not necessary since the records are already linked between the 2 systems, and will be updated by the sync engine every 5 minutes.
Syncing Prospects For the First Time (Including Unsuccessfuly Synced Prospects) Through a Bulk Action
A bulk action is a one-time fulfillment action taken on a prospect or a number of selected prospects. This action can also be used to re-sync leads that have failed to sync and show an error in the CRM logs (Reports > System > CRM Logs).
To take the sync action on your captured prospects, follow the steps below:
Click on the number of prospects for the desired event.
Click on the selection icon. There are options to select individuals, page, or all.
Once the desired leads are selected, click on 'Actions' and 'Bulk Actions'
Name your action and click 'Save'. Naming the action is for the purpose of logging it (you can go back to it later inside 'Prospects > Bulk Actions').
Select the sync action. Select 'Sync to SFDC' to sync to Salesforce.
Or 'Sync Leads to MSD' to sync leads to Microsoft Dynamics
After clicking 'Next' and 'Activate', the action will run immediately!
The changes are now synced successfully!
Another Way to Re-Syncing Failed Leads
Retrying From The CRM Logs
In the CRM Logs page (Reports > System > CRM Logs, also accessed using this link: https://app.captello.com/crm-synced-leads-logs.php), you can click on the dropdown of an errored lead and click 'Retry' to rerun the sync after your edit as shown:
The downside of this option is that the action needs to be taken manually for each lead, so it might be more efficient to use a bulk action if you have a lot of leads that need to be re-synced.
