Step 2: Extract the Zip file
Right-click the ZIP file and choose "Extract All" or "Unzip." This will create a regular folder that contains all the extension files you need to load into Chrome.
Step 3: Go to // extension page on chrome
Open Google Chrome and type chrome://extensions/ in the address bar, then press Enter. This will open Chrome’s extension management page.
OR simply click on 3 dots on the top right of the chrome and click on manage extensions.
Step 4: Enable Developer Mode (IMPORTANT)
In the top-right corner of the extensions page, toggle the switch labeled “Developer mode” to ON. This unlocks advanced features like loading unpacked extensions.
Step 5: Click "Load unpacked" and select the extracted folder
Press the “Load unpacked” button and navigate to the FOLDER you extracted earlier. Select the folder and click “Open.” This will install the extension manually into your Chrome browser.
