Onboarding tutorials can be set up to appear as iFrames or Content on any given location.

Once you know which training/onboarding content should be displayed at a specific location, it's very simple to set up the Onboarding tool to guide and provide your patrons with the necessary information on location.

Set up Resource location for the Onboarding Content

The first step of setting up the Onboarding tool is to add a Resource onto the dashboard. This Resource is where you wanted the LibGuide to appear. If you have not done so, please click here to see how to create a Resource in the dashboard.

Set up Onboarding Content

Once you have created the Resource, the next step is to add your Onboarding content which you would like to present. Please see the below to see the steps:

If you have set up bilingual language on the dashboard:

Please note that you will see two languages in the dropdown setting, be sure to select the correct language for the appropriate Onboarding content. This mean, when your patron select the appropriate language, they will be shown the correspondence content.

Assign the Onboarding content to a Resource

Now both the content and the Resource are added to the dashboard, the next step is to combine these together to set up the Onboarding tool. Please see the below to see how you can combine these two together.

Once you have completed the final step you have successfully set up your Library Onboarding content to the selected Resource. This is how the Onboarding tool will appear on the web page:
