Zotero is a reference manager and a free, easy-to-use tool to help you collect, organise, annotate, cite and share research. If your institution has enabled the Zotero integration on the Lean Library dashboard, you'll be able to start using Zotero on the Lean Library browser extension.

How do I use Zotero with Lean Library?

To use Zotero on the Lean Library browser extension, please go to Advanced User Settings. Under Partner Integrations, you'll see Zotero as an option if your institution has enabled the feature, see below:

Please note: If your library has not enabled Zotero for your institution, you'll not be able to use this feature.

Please click "Zotero" and then click "Log In'. Once you have authenticated successfully with Zotero, you can start using the extension as usual.

How do I save articles?

If you'd like to save an article while researching, all you need to do is right-click on the article page and click 'Save to Zotero via LL'. Your reference will then be saved on your Zotero Web Library.

How do I save notes?

If you'd like to save a note while researching, all you need to do is highlight the content and right-click to find 'Save to Zotero via LL'. Your reference will then be saved on your Zotero Web Library.


How do I access my saved references on Zotero Web Library?

If you'd like to access your saved references, please go to Advanced User Settings and click 'View Reading List' under Partner Integrations: Zotero.

Once you click this, you should be immediately taken to your Web Library.
