Within the "Access settings" in the Lean Library librarian dashboard, you can enable a few additional features which affect the overall behaviour of the extension.

To manage these settings in the dashboard, please click the "Access" icon > General Network Settings

Auto authentication redirect within the extension

When this setting is enabled, your patrons will automatically be redirected to the proxied URL when they arrive on a website that their library may have access to. This means that your patron will no longer see or have to click on the "Get Access" pop-ups.

Hide the auto-redirect authentication option for your patrons

When this setting is enabled within the dashboard, the "Automate my authentication and skip associated pop-ups" setting will be removed from the quick menu. Your patrons will no longer have the option to disable or enable this themselves.

Please see the image below for an example:

Enable Access & Alternatives for OA articles

When this setting is enabled, your patrons will not see any pop-ups when viewing Open Access content because they are already viewing the full text.

Prioritise Open Access over your link resolver

When this setting is enabled, the extension will prioritise the Open Access version of an article over the same article within your holdings system.

Show Extension Settings upon installation automatically

When this setting is enabled, only your institution will be shown to your patrons on the drop-down menu when they are on campus.
