The following Flowchart shows the process involved in the Lean PlanDo. The creation of master schedule in Lean PlanDo can be done by importing existing masterplan.
Step 1: Choose Public or Private Project
Public Project: Multiple users can be added in for collaboration
Private Project: Only you can access the project, and addition of users are not allowed.
Step 2: Create a Project
After login, click on Create New button
Add the details for the project (refer below)
Step 3: Upload a Masterplan
Click to select or Drag and drop master plan file of Microsoft Project (MPP) or Oracle Primavera P6 (XER) formats in to Lean PlanDo
Click Import Masterplan
The project’s Masterplan will be rendered in the form of a Gantt chart

Common Errors while uploading:
One of the main errors users usually get after importing a MPP or XER file is that "Activity x.x.x Activity Name non leaf activity cannot have a dependency." This means that in the original plan, the parent activities are having predecessors or successors. Lean PlanDo does not support this and thus, you will have to move these dependencies to the corresponding child activities in the original plan.
If the master schedule does not have base dates, you will be prompted to keep the current start and end dates as base dates. When you fix base dates and proceed, your base and expected dates will become the same.
Please note that for a newly registered user who hasn't purchased a commercial license of Lean PlanDo, the project will expire in 14 days. Users will be able to access all features for the first 14 days after creating the project. Once the project expires, only Lean PlanDo Insights will be available. Reach us through the chat option or drop an email to "info@leanstation.com" to buy a commercial license.
