After Masterplan is uploaded and before generating the Lookahead, the Masterplan needs to be pre-configured in order to:
Review and revise the plan and change activity Base Dates if necessary
Update the plan by revising the progress of the activities according to actual site conditions
In Pre-configuration phase, any change to activity dates will also change the base dates. The image below shows how to access the options to edit activities in Masterplan pre-configuration phase. Double-click on the activity bar to show the activity menu.
The below image shows the different options that can be edited for activities in Masterplan pre-config phase. Activity parameters like name, start date, remaining early start date, duration and progress can be edited.
After the first Lookahead is generated, any change in dates will be taken as advance or delay of the activity, thus changing their expected dates while the base dates remain the same.
