The masterplan pre-config phase allows users to re-plan their project and so gives them options to delay or advance activity dates and duration. Since its a re-planning phase, when the dates or duration are changed, the base dates of the activities will also be set to those new dates.
Start date and End date of an activity can be set to any dates in the Pre-Configuration stage.
Changing the start date would advance or delay the complete activity
Note: The edited start date and end date of an activity in pre-configuration phase are considered as the base dates throughout the project.
