Do List Confirmation is the process of confirming all the updates on task progress, constraint status and due dates for that week. It is a confirmation of the work committed and executed by the main contractor and sub-contractors. Once the Do List is confirmed, the data for that week including the progress of tasks cannot be changed. Below are some rules that will be verified during confirmation
All tasks in the Do List should have progress for the all the dates inside the Do List.
Confirmation is not allowed if there are uncommitted tasks in the lookahead within the Do Week. They have to be committed and updated or delayed to the next week.
Undone constraints within the Do List period are not allowed. Before confirmation it must be ensured that all constraints or conditions with due-dates with-in the do-week are either updated as 'Done' or delayed to the future.
Unattended activities i.e. activities without tasks will also be required to be broken down into tasks, committed and updated or moved outside of the Do Week.
Below image shows the warning that will be displayed when a user tries to confirm the Do List without updating the activities, tasks or constraints inside the Do List.

Also, the data in the Insights will be updated and locked based on the current Do List confirmation, in order to get the most updated Insights for data analysis.Β
Next week's Lookahead will be generated only after all Tasks committed under Do List have been completed, and all the issues raised are resolved.
New Lookahead generated will be the new Do Week (the next week from previous Do Week) with activities/tasks in progress, new activities, tasks and constraints. This will allow the project to run another cycle of planning, committing, executing and confirming the Do Week again.

Once the Do list has been confirmed, the Tasks under the activity will be updated in Lookahead. A completed or delayed activity will be reflected in the Masterplan too.
