Note:

Number of Tasks

  • Before creating the tasks out of an activity, decide on the number of task to be created. Enter the number in the provided number box.

Task Name

  • In the detailed view of an activity, under the Task Lists, there is a function to enable Task Prefix.

  • By using a Task Prefix, the tasks are better denoted to relate back to its parent Activity. For example, the first prefix can be used for a zone number that the task is in, and the second prefix for the level of a building.

  • Task prefix will be applied to every task created under that particular activity.

Link Tasks

  • Linking of tasks means creating dependency between the tasks. While creating the tasks, if we check the Link Tasks (0FS) check box, then system will add relations between the created tasks.

Company and Supervisor in charge

  • Company in charge holds the responsibility for finishing the work under an activity. The assignee should be the Engineer in charge of the task from Main Contractor company, and the assigned company should be the Subcontractor company.

  • Supervisor has the complete control over the tasks which are assigned to the company in charge. Supervisor supervises the work and also has the authority to override the progress entered by the company in charge . Only main contractor company members can be assigned as supervisors for the tasks.
