How to add quantity to task

The % of work for each Task allocated is divided equally automatically.

Automatically allocated task after progress update cannot be manually allocated with work.

Tasks can be marked as Quantified (instead of in terms of %). This feature is useful when a task can be updated in progress in terms of a physical count rather than in percentage. For example, if the task is constructing 3 columns, and you plan to finish one column per day, you can quantify the task as 3 columns. Progress update can then be input as 1 column, instead of 33.33% for one day.

To Quantify a task,

  • Double-click the task bar

  • Click Quantity tab (2nd from the top)

  • Click Quantify Task and set the required Total Quantity and Unit

  • Click Save

  • Click Remove Quantity to undo the quantification.

Note

  1. Quantity can only be added when the task is NOT committed and has not started. Completed tasks cannot be quantified.

  2. To quantify a task, uncommit the task first.

  3. If the task has been input some progress without the quantity, it cannot be quantified half-way. It has to be quantified right from the start at 0 progress input.
