Steps in a constraint are the individual steps required to complete the constraint before the start of the task. They represent the actual prerequisite work to be done to complete the constraint.

  • Last Step Due Date in the constraint = Task Constraint Due Date.

  • There are three sections in a Step: Status, Due Date and Company/User Assigned to the Step.

The following steps guide you to Edit Steps in a Task Constraint:

  • Double click on the Constraint (indicated by a circle and in-lined with its task)

  • Click the Pencil (Edit) button beside the Step that you want to edit

  • To change the assignee, select the Assignee circle and select the new assignee

  • To edit the due date, click the calendar in the Expected Due Date box, select the desired date

  • To set the status, click the Circle beside each step

Managing Steps under an Activity Constraint is similar to managing steps under a Task Constraint. To find out more read 3.21 Manage steps under activity constraint.
