Applying a saved template on an activity will automatically create tasks and constraints under the activity based on the source activity tasks and constraints that was used to create the template. The saved templates can be accessed from the "Templates" option provided on activities in the lookahead.
To apply a template, follow below steps.
Click on the activity bar to open the Mini Widget and click Apply template.
Select the desired template to be applied on the activity from the list in the left side, and click Choose.
Provide prefixes to be applied to the tasks if required. For e.g., if you are applying a template created from Zone 1 activity to an activity in Zone 2, provide prefix as zone 2. All tasks created under the activity will have zone 2 as a prefix.
Choose the dates between which the tasks will be created under the activity. By default they will be applied between the start and end dates of the activity. The duration will automatically update according to the start and end dates that you choose.
Choose the Company in charge and Supervisor for the tasks.
Click Load Preview to see how the template will be applied before committing the template to the activity.
Click Apply Template and the tasks and constraints in the template will be created automatically under the activity selected.
