  1. Weekly Commitment and Reliability (Overview)

The commitment and reliability graph shows the weekly commitment levels and reliability of the project team. The values are obtained based on the workable backlog numbers recorded every week.

The 4 indicators used to represent commitment and reliability are mentioned below:

  1. Constraint management level

  2. Site readiness level

  3. Commitment level

  4. Construct Plan Reliability (CPR)

Constraint management level indicates how well constraints are identified and managed. It is the ratio of number of Can do tasks over Should do tasks calculated at the end of every week.

Site readiness level depicts how ready the site team is to take up the planned tasks for a week. It is the ratio of number of Will do tasks over Can do tasks calculated at the end of every week.

Commitment level represents how well site team keeps up to their commitments. It is the ratio of number of Did tasks over Will do tasks calculated at the end of every week. The Did tasks are calculated based on the task allocations each week. If a task starts and ends within the Do-week, then 100% of the task is allocated for that week. If a second task having duration of 5 days starts in the Do-week but ends in the next week with only first 2 days in the Do-week, then 40% (2/5) of its work is allocated in the Do-week. So, if the first task is completed 100% and second task gets completed by 40% in the Do-week, then both of them are considered to be done. This ratio of Did tasks / Will tasks is also know as Percent Plan Complete (PPC)

Construct Plan Reliability(CPR) represent the overall reliability of the plan. From the total should do tasks in a week, how many were totally done as planned provides teams with an insight on their performance, plan reliability and commitment. It is the ratio of number of Did tasks over Should do tasks calculated at the end of every week.

Graph 1 plots the parameters mentioned above for each week. It also provides the max, min and median values for each of the parameters.
