Lean PlanDo's export feature enables you to download the Masterplan and import it back into Microsoft Project.
To export your Master schedule, go to the Masterplan Tab under the Plan Tab.
On the left hand corner under the Project Name, you will find the “Export” button. Click on the button to download your Masterplan as a .msp file (Microsoft Project file).
After you have downloaded the file, simply open the file using Microsoft Project to import it.
Note:
As the values exported are directly from Lean PlanDo, the data may differ as they will be recomputed by the specific applications differently from Lean PlanDo’s method of calculation.
The following data will be slightly different from Lean PlanDo data as they are recalculated in Microsoft Project with different methodologies:
Percentage (%) Complete and Remaining Early Start, Finish Date of in-progress activities may differ slightly, as the method of calculation of progress and schedule in Lean PlanDo is different from that of Microsoft Project.
Activities scheduled in the future may differ in start dates as Microsoft Project reschedules the same after import based on the dates it derives.
Activities completed 100% will remain unchanged.
Baseline start, baseline end and baseline duration will be the same as what you have in Lean PlanDo.
The export functionality tries to keep the overall progress of the master schedule as close as possible to the same in Lean PlanDo. But as both the applications differ in the way the progress and schedules are calculated, differences are bound to happen.

If you would like to see the exact copy of Duration and Progress of each activity in Lean PlanDo, please insert Text1 and Text2 fields/ columns in Microsoft Project. Text1 refers to the Duration of activity from Lean PlanDo and Text2 refers to Progress.
