Updated over a month ago

What This Feature Does

  • Allows creation of multiple teaching profiles (e.g., "Online," "Home School," "Traveling Tutor")

  • Each profile includes details like environment, tools, and constraints

  • Only one profile can be set as active at a time

  • Spark AI uses the active profile to personalize content and suggestions

  • Helps deliver context-aware, relevant teaching support

How to Use It (Step-by-Step)

  1. Access Profile Settings: Go to the "Profile" section from the sidebar or dashboard.

  2. Locate Teaching Profiles: Scroll to the "Teaching Profiles" section.

  3. Add a New Profile:

    • Click “Add profile.”

    • Enter details like profile name, mode (optional), and description of the teaching context.

  4. Set Active Profile: Select the radio button for the profile you want Spark AI to use.

  5. Save Changes: Click “Save teaching profiles.”

  6. Manage Profiles: Edit or switch between profiles anytime.

Why This Matters

  1. Context-Aware AI: Spark AI tailors responses based on the teaching environment.

  2. Improved Relevance: Reduces the need for repeated context-giving by the user.

  3. Supports Versatility: Ideal for educators with multiple roles or teaching modes.

  4. Personalized Content: Profiles ensure generated resources match actual teaching constraints.

  5. Faster Onboarding: Helps new users get accurate AI assistance from the start.
