Common Reasons We Reject Proposals

Why Your Proposal Might Be Rejected

At Learnexus, our goal is to create the best matches between experts and clients. Sometimes, our team may reject your proposal if we don't think it's the right fit. Here are the top reasons why a proposal might be rejected:

  1. Lack of Specific Experience: Clients may require a specific skill or experience in the job post (e.g. the client needs someone who has used Cornerstone or Articulate Rise). If you don't mention you meet this requirement specifically in your proposal or on your profile, we may reject it.

  2. Missing Work Sample: Clients may require specific work samples to understand your expertise better. If your proposal is missing a required work sample, we may reject it. Ensure you include all required samples when submitting a proposal.

  3. Qualification Mismatch: We may turn down your proposal if your qualifications do not align with what the client needs for their project. It’s important to keep your profile updated and ensure it accurately represents your qualifications, skills, and experiences. Check out our guide to creating a standout profile.

  4. Timezone/Location Differences: Some projects may require experts to be in a specific timezone or location. If your location does not meet the client's needs, we may reject your profile.

What To Do If You Believe You Meet the Qualifications
