Here’s how upgrading works, how to know when you’re eligible and what to do with your old device

Ready for a new device?

If you’re at the end of your lease, you can upgrade to the latest tech in just a few taps. It’s easy, there’s no upgrade fee, and returns are free.

We’ll let you know when it’s time to upgrade.


How to upgrade your device

You can view your upgrade options and choose your new device in your Raylo account:

  1. Log in to your Raylo account

  2. Go to Your Tech and tap Choose your upgrade

  3. Tap See all upgrades to view your pre-approved upgrade limit and browse your options

  4. Choose your new device and check out


Returning your old device

We’ll email your return instructions when your upgrade is on the way.

FAQs

What is my pre-approved upgrade limit?

Your pre-approved upgrade limit is the maximum you’ve been approved to spend on your upgrade per month. It’s based on:

  • How long you’ve been a Raylo customer

  • Your payment history with us and other providers

Your limit can go up or down over time and is always subject to checks.

Can I upgrade early?

You’ll need to wait until your upgrade due date. You’ll find this in your Raylo account under Your Tech.

When is my first payment taken for the upgrade?

Your first monthly payment will be taken 14 days after your new device is shipped.

Do I keep paying for my old device after upgrading?

Yes, you’ll keep paying until the old device is returned and checked. To avoid overlap, send it back as soon as your new one arrives.

Can I keep my old device instead of returning it?

Yes, you can keep your device instead of returning it. You can either:

  • Continue paying on monthly rolling (no action needed), or

  • Contact our team to explore purchasing the device. Not every device is eligible, but we’ll do our best to help.
