Lists are great for sending out newsletters to specific market segments, and can be completely customised using data from the system. You can use the list function simply to see how many customers meet a specific attribute criteria. Follow the steps below to design your custom contact list:
Navigate to ‘CRM’ and select ‘Lists’. You can create a static list or a dynamic list. Static lists remain the same once created, while dynamic lists update over time as contact attributes change.
Once you have selected dynamic, you can configure the name for your list. (Dynamic lists are always recommended!)
Click on ‘Create’ and you’ll be sent to the overview page for the list. On the right hand side, you can see the ‘Active filters’.
To start creating your list based on filters, click ‘+ Filter group’. Here you can configure the conditions that need to be met to be apart of the list. If you just completed a contact import, you can use the contact attribute 'Present in import' to create a list with just these contacts!
Click on exit button in the top right hand corner and then ‘Activate’ to apply the selected filters and create the dynamic list.
You can now select the list to see the overview or make any edits in future. Check out the steps to send out an email campaign, where you can use this contact list!
Attention! You can only make lists based on contact attributes or imports. To create a list of a specific form's submissions, you need to export the submissions, re-import the email addresses and then use the ‘Present in import’ attribute to create the list.
