Keep all your key business metrics in one place. Ensure you track your advertising spend, product costs, and revenue - to precisely measure your profit and ROAS. Group data by day, week, or month, and visualize it to understand trends, patterns, and outliers.

The Business Report feature will be the first thing that you see in the Lebesgue: Smarter Marketing app and it's designed to give you an overview of all of your most important store and marketing metrics in one place.

Compare metrics

Analyze how metrics perform over time: pick your metric, select a date range, and group it by day, week, or month. Use this visualization to better understand how different metrics correlate (e.g. Facebook purchases and first-time orders) or to understand trends and seasonalities in your data.

Pro tip: Pay special attention to first-time orders. If you see there are more Facebook or Google purchases than first-time orders, your channels could be overlapping and overspending on the same audience.

Business Overview

Easily check all of your key metrics - Revenue, First-time revenue, Ad spent, CoGS, etc. - to clearly understand how your business is performing on a daily, weekly or, monthly basis. Having all numbers one next to each other can often help you better understand patterns in the data and your shop performance.

Business metrics explained

Revenue

Note: Canceled orders are globally excluded from reporting revenue and order numbers.

Shop Gross Revenue (Shopify: Gross Sales)

  • Sum of all line item prices.

Shop Revenue

  • Includes all line item prices, discounts, shipping, taxes, and tips. Doesn't reflect refunds.

Shop Net Revenue

  • Includes all line item prices, discounts, shipping, taxes, and tips. Also reflects order edits, returns, and refunds.

Profit & Loss

Cost of Goods Sold

  • Uses the cost of goods sold data you imputed in your e-commerce platform for each product. For products missing the cost data, Lebesgue estimates COGS based on products with known data. The estimation works better if more products have COGS filled.

  • You can adjust the COGS calculation using the product costs section in our app. You can input a cost directly in the app for any product, and you can set a default margin that will be used for all products still missing the cost.

Custom costs

  • You can track any kind of recurring or one-time cost. You can input the rule for each cost in the Cost and expenses section, the final calculation will be visible in the Business report afterward.

ROI & ROAS

ROI:

  • Revenue / (Advertising spend + COGS)

ROAS

  • Advertising Revenue / Advertising spend

MER
