Deactivate a user

Note: The profile attached to historic records needs to be retained.
Before deactivating a user, consider reassigning any tasks assigned to their profile and ensure they aren't registered as the COLP or MLRO for your firm.

The way you'll deactivate a user depends on if they have a profile in Access Workspace. Please see the relevant section below:

Profile in Access Workspace

To deactivate a user who has an active profile in Workspace, visit members in Access Workspace.

Compliance software tab account only

If the user only has an account within the Compliance software tab and not in Workspace Members, you'll need support to delete this for you. Please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article.
