Understanding permission levels for users

H
Written by Huzayfah Patel

You can assign permission levels to individual users for specific areas of the system in the Access Legal Compliance. By dividing these by module, you can tailor users' accounts to their role and specific access requirements.

Note: When creating new users in the members section of Access Workspace, choose a member role for them to enable access to Access Legal Compliance. These are separate from the permission settings listed below, which need to be assigned to users to manage their level of access in Access Legal Compliance.

Data inputter

This is a contribute only role:

  • Add records to the module and escalate tasks to others.

  • Search for records they’ve added to the module.

  • Complete tasks assigned to them.

Supervisor

Supervisor access is valuable to anyone with a higher level of responsibility for compliance tasks:

  • See all records and tasks within the module.

  • Access the module reports.

  • Assign and complete tasks.

Master user

Administrators typically have the Master user access and can be used alongside both Data inputter and Supervisor access. It allows:

  • Access to the Account Settings.

  • Add notices to the Company Noticeboard area of the system.
