Access Legal Compliance allows you to create Custom Tasks which can be allocated within the system and aligned to specific modules.

These tasks have the ability to cover a wider range of actions, can be set to automatically recur, and can be allocated reminders.

Please Note: In order to follow the below guidance, the User will need to have Supervisor permission for the Custom Task Module. Please see our guidance on how to assign module permissions.

  1. From the Home Page, click Create Task.

  2. Select the Module the Task relates to from the Task Type drop-down.

  3. Assign the Task to the User or Group whom needs to complete it.

  4. Complete the task details.

  5. The Task Timescales section allows you to set a due date, and select if the task is to recur.

  6. If you select Yes, you can then choose how often you would like this task to recur and whether you wish for the task to scheduled for Weekdays Only.

  7. The System will then automatically generate the Next Task Due Date for you.

  8. Select if the task is to recur automatically.

  9. Use the Task Reminders field to specify as to when you wish the assigned user to receive a notification to remind them of the task.

  10. Finally you can choose whether you need to wish to notify any other users or group of the task.

  11. Click Create Task.

  12. The task will now appear in the assigned user's task list.

Please Note: When a task is set to automatically recur, the next task will be created regardless of whether the previous task has been completed.
