We're pleased to bring you the July 2026 release, a set of refinements to the refreshed Audits, Complaints and Breach Reporting modules based directly on your feedback. This release smooths out everyday tasks and brings back a few familiar touches from the classic interface, while the wider modernisation programme continues.

What's new

Your design choice is now remembered

When you switch between the classic and new design, your choice is now saved to your profile and applied automatically the next time you log in – on any browser or device. You no longer need to re-select the new look each time you sign in. New users continue to start on the classic interface, with the option to try the new design.

Add a person while logging a record

You can now add a person directly from the people dropdowns while logging a record, without leaving the form – matching the classic interface. This is available on:

  • Audits – Auditee and Auditor

  • Breach Reporting – Breach Identified By

  • Complaints – Complaint Made Against, Fee Earner for Current Matter, and Complaint Handler

Added people are name-only entries for individuals involved in a record who don't have a system login. They appear in logging dropdowns (but not in task assignment) and can be enabled as full system users later from the Named Individuals page.

Clear a quick filter in one click

Each quick filter dropdown now keeps an "All" option pinned at the top of the list (for example, "All Auditors"). It stays visible as you scroll, so you can clear the filter and return to the full list in a single click without hunting for it. This works consistently across every refreshed module.

"Do Not Schedule" is back

The "Do Not Schedule" option from the classic corrective action screen has returned in the new design. When the task side panel opens, eligible users now see a Do Not Schedule button that closes the panel without creating a task and returns you to the record. You can re-load the scheduling task later from the Task dropdown if needed. Visibility follows your existing "Allow this task to be skipped" setting, so only eligible users see it – available across Audits, Complaints and Breach Reporting.

The Insights panel stays collapsed

If you collapse the Insights panel, it now stays collapsed as you move between records and refresh the page for the rest of your session. It reopens by default at your next sign-in, and each module remembers its own Insights state independently.

Jump straight to the last page

List views now always show the last page number in the pagination control, so you can jump straight to the oldest records in a single click and see the total size of the list at a glance.

See linked records at a glance (Complaints)

The Linked Records tab on a complaint now shows a count badge – matching the Tasks tab – so you can tell whether records are linked without having to click into the tab.

How to access this update

These improvements apply automatically to the new design across Audits, Complaints and Breach Reporting. No action is required from firm administrators, and all permissions, configuration and historical data carry over unchanged.

If you haven't switched yet, use the "Try the New Look" option in the side navigation. You can switch back to the classic interface at any time during the rollout.

What stays the same

Every record, task, attachment and historical entry is preserved exactly as it was. All permissions, module access and firm configuration (offices, departments, practice areas, user groups and workflow setup) carry over unchanged. Supervisors continue to see everything they always had; standard users only see their own records and tasks. Only modules your firm has enabled and the user has been granted will be visible.

What's next

We're continuing to bring the modern, more intuitive experience to the remaining modules, including Risk Register, Undertakings, Money Laundering Suspicions, Client Feedback, Periodic Review, Gift & Hospitality Register, PII Claims and Referrals. We'll let you know as each one is ready.
