Yes, you can now design your pieces yourself. In the Studio, you choose a silhouette, choose one of your artworks, place it the way you like and see the front and the back. What you see is what gets made.
Steps
In the top menu, click STUDIO. (When you log in, the portal usually opens here.)
In the list on the left, under Select a silhouette, click the piece you want to make: a scarf, a bag, a cushion…
Under Your art, click one of your artworks.
To find one quickly, type its name in Search your art by name.
To use new art, click the + tile, Upload new art. Read B2 – Art files and B4 – Temporary Studio uploads first (see Related articles).
Place your art on the piece:
drag it to move it;
scroll with your mouse wheel, or pinch on a phone or tablet, to make it bigger or smaller.
If the piece has a front and a back, click View A and View B to check both sides.
Use the tools beside the piece if you need them (see the table below).
Look at the Your piece panel. It shows your prices, including volume prices.
When you like your piece, click one of the two buttons:
Save idea: the design is saved in your products as an idea. Nothing is ordered. You see "Saved to your products" with its SKU, and a link See it in Products.
Save and add to bag: the design is saved and added to your bag. You stay in the Studio, so you can keep designing. Click Go to checkout when you're ready.
The tools beside the piece
Tool | What it does |
Lock | Freezes your placement, so you can scroll the page without moving the art. |
Tile | Repeats your art across the whole print area, like a pattern. |
Rotate | Turns your art a quarter turn (90°). |
Mirror | Flips your art from left to right. |
Reset | Puts your art back to its starting position and size. |
Good to know
Sizes and quantities are chosen in your bag, not in the Studio.
Each save is a new design. A saved idea can't be edited. To try another version, open the Studio with the same art (on a product card, ··· → New design with this art, or on the product page, Design another piece with this art), place it differently and save again.
On a phone or a small screen, the Studio shows three numbered tabs: Silhouette, Your art and Your piece.
Not every silhouette is in the Studio yet. If the one you want isn't in the list, see "Request designs from our team".
The thread colour of your piece comes from your art, not from the Studio. See "Choose the seam (thread) colour".
If you see "This product could not be loaded. Please try again.", reload the page and choose the silhouette again.
