B3 Ideas and products: what's the difference?

Ideas are designs you saved but never ordered; products are designs you've ordered. How the tabs, Archive and Trash work.

Written by Elise

An idea is a design you saved but have never ordered. A product is a design you've ordered at least once. You find both on the PRODUCTS page, each in its own tab.

The tabs on the Products page

Tab

What's in it

All

Your products and your ideas together.

Products

Designs made at least once.

Ideas

Designs never ordered. The Ideas tab shows how many ideas you have.

Archive

Products you removed. They stay stored; you can restore them any time.

Trash

Ideas you removed. You can restore an idea from the Trash.

When does an idea become a product?

As soon as you order it. A design waiting in your bag is still an idea until you pay the order. Once ordered, its card shows the Ordered badge and it moves to the Products tab.

Removing a design: Archive or Trash

  1. On the PRODUCTS page, tick the checkbox on the design(s).

  2. In the bar at the bottom, click the remove button. Its name depends on what you selected:

    • products only: Archive;

    • ideas only: Move to trash;

    • both: Archive / trash (products go to the Archive, ideas to the Trash).

  3. Confirm.

To get a design back, open the Archive or Trash tab, tick it, click Restore, then REACTIVATE.

Good to know

  • Removed designs also leave your storefront.

  • Designs you make in the Studio and designs our team makes for you both arrive as ideas.

  • Can't find a design? Check the Archive and Trash tabs, and clear the search box.

  • On a computer, hold your mouse over a tab to see a short explanation.
