Runways are an exciting moment, full of inspiration and validation of intuitions. A fascinating result of global world trends felt and interpreted by creatives to be presented to the world in a wearable format.

Here’s a summary of the direction high fashion is taking this season.

The brights and saturated tones that were a much-needed breath of fresh air after uncertain years of pandemics remain present. They evolved into Digital/ futuristic patterns and textures, continuing to embrace the idea of a bright future.

The other big movement is also a return to our roots, a reflection of how this forced pause encourages us to return to nature. Earthy & Ocean textures. Intemporel. A close-up look at rock patterns or coral reefs, for example. Blurred florals, reminding a foggy morning, a soft breeze on a field, or the shadow of a bouquet at sunset.

Emerging from that same desire to return to a simpler, slow-pace, and grounded way of life, the return to arts and crafts is represented by Brushstrokes. The renewed love for thrifting is reflected by Upholstery Floral.

Note that there's also a growing desire to buy local, and more meaningful products, produced in small batches that connect directly the creator to the consumer.
