Le Galeriste no longer sells inserts with its cushions

Why?

Here's a summary, and find more details below

  • Our inserts supplier can't offer us a competitive price anymore. Therefore we would have to increase our prices. We then become more expensive than your potential local supplier.

  • By not having to maintain an insert inventory, we can offer multiple new sizes of cushions.

  • We want to offer the best products at the best prices and better environmental-friendly options.

In more detail...

We have come to the realization that we canโ€™t sell inserts with our pillows anymore at a competitive and fair price for you.

Inflation, increasing costs in transport and goods in general, and supply issues meant we had to increase our pillow prices significantly, especially when factoring in the shipping cost for bulky items.

It also felt like nonsense for our carbon footprint to import ourselves inserts only to ship them back out when our customers can locally source similar items in their community (local general store, bigger popular chain, or online) at a competitive price.

Since we are no longer limited to our insert sizes offering, we will be able to propose several new and popular sizes of cushions! More to come sooner than later ๐ŸŽ‰

Technicalities

  • Both Scuba & Canvas Pillows are converted to cushion covers only (UAC20, UAC12, UAC61 & UAC62)

  • You will not lose your designs. They all remain the same

  • Descriptions & Prices will be updated sitewide on the Storefront & Artist Portal

  • New Retail price for the Square ones (UAC20-UAC21 & UAC61): 39.90$

  • New Retail price for the Rectangular ones (UAC12 & UAC62) is: 34.90$

Now, where to find inserts?

The good news is that you can find them in many places, even in small communities!

  • A local boutique near you

  • A supermarket or popular chain store

  • Online from a local brand or a bigger retailer
