This section explains the IP Address Connection Restriction features and guides you on how to check its subscription status.

What is IP Address Connection Restriction?

IP Address Connection Restriction is an optional feature that enhances the protection of your LegalOn account by limiting access to a predefined set of IP addresses.

Requirements


  • Supported Format: IPv4 using CIDR notation (IPv6 is not supported).

  • Eligibility:

    • IP Address Restriction is enabled

    • Accounts with IT Administrator or Module Administrator roles.


Subscribe to the IP Address Connection Restriction feature

  1. Contact Sales: Reach out to your sales representative to subscribe. They will provide detailed information.

  2. Agree to Terms: Consent to the terms and conditions of the IP Address Connection Restriction feature.

  3. IP Address Setup: We will configure the allowed IP addresses. Your sales representative will notify you upon completion.

Check the subscription status of the IP Address Connection Restriction feature

IT Administrators or Module Administrators can check the subscription status by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to [Service settings].

  2. Under Service settings, select [Licensing] and then check [Feature usage].

Change IP Address Connection Restriction settings

To add or remove IP addresses:

  1. Click [Start conversation] from the customer support icon in the bottom left of the screen and provide the IP addresses you wish to add or remove.

  2. Our User Support team will inform you of the estimated completion date for the IP address change.

  3. You will be notified by User Support once the IP address change is complete.

Cancel the IP Address Connection Restriction feature

  1. Contact Sales: Reach out to your sales representative to cancel the feature. They will provide detailed information.

  2. Agree to Cancellation: Consent to the cancellation terms for the IP Address Connection Restriction feature.

  3. IP Address Deactivation: We will deactivate the IP address settings. Your sales representative will notify you upon completion.
