[New] How to read the Dashboard

This article explains the features of the new LegalOn. For information on the current version’s product features, please refer to this page.

This section outlines the different elements of the Dashboard page: the Dashboard, Global menu, and Global header, detailing what each user type can access.


What is the Dashboard?

The Dashboard is the first page you see upon logging into LegalOn. The menus displayed on the Dashboard vary depending on your subscribed modules and user type.

The table below details the Dashboard menus visible and usable by each user type:

Incident information

Displays up to 5 critical system issues.

Important announcements

Shows up to 5 maintenance notices and important announcements.

Matters due soon

- Lists up to 10 matters where you are set as the assignee, including matter name, due date, and status.

- Matters are ordered by earliest due date (or creation date for same-day due dates).

- Matters with you as a secondary assignee or with "Completed" status are excluded.

Matter Management: Pro

Matters you requested

- Displays up to 20 matters where you are set as the requester, including matter name, creation date, and status.

- Matters are ordered by most recent creation date.

Request a matter via form

Provides a list of matter request forms.

My checklist

Shows the numbers of:

- Past due matters assigned to you (up to 99).

- Past due matters (up to 99).

- Unassigned matters (up to 99).

Matter Management: Pro

Displays the numbers of:

- Contracts with renewal rejection deadlines within 60 days (up to 99)*.

- Contracts with termination dates within 60 days (up to 99)*.

Contract Management: Basic

Review

Contract review is enabled in the file editing page upon upload.

Shows the file name and creation date of your latest uploaded contracts.

* Displayed are the counts of executed contracts based on your access permissions:

  • "Viewer" or higher permission: Contracts expiring within 60 days.

  • "Viewer" or higher permission AND "Assignee": Assignee-assigned contracts expiring within 60 days.

⚠️ Notes

  • You can hide "Incident information" and "Important announcements" by clicking the [×] on the right side.

Global menu

The Global Menu provides access to various features.

The menus you can view and use depend on your user type and administrator role:

Global header

The Global Header provides quick access to essential functions.

The menus you can view and use depend on your user type and administrator role:
