How to Delete an Executed Contract

This article explains how to delete files (executed contracts) uploaded to LegalOn.


Requirements

  • Module: Contract Management

  • Eligible Users: All users within a contracted tenant

  • Access Rights:

    • Administrator

    • Editor

    • Contributor (*)

(*) Users with contributor permissions are subject to the following restrictions:

  • Only individual files can be deleted; bulk deletion of multiple files is not allowed.

  • Only files uploaded by the user can be deleted.


Delete from the File Detail Page

Delete Only the Executed Contracts

1. Go to [Contracts] and click the [Executed contracts] tab.

2. Open the file detail page of the executed contract you want to delete.

3. Click the [Versions] tab on the right side of the screen.

A menu will appear when you hover over the right-hand area.

4. Click [...] [Delete this version] on the executed contract.

5. Confirm the message and click [Delete].

When the file is deleted, the message [Version deleted] will be displayed.

Delete All Versions (Including the Executed Contract)

1. Go to [Contracts] and click the [Executed contracts] tab.

2. Open the file detail page of the executed contract you want to delete.

3. In the upper-right corner of the file detail page, click […][Delete all versions].

4. Confirm the message and click [Delete].

Once the file is deleted, a message saying [File deleted] will appear, and the deleted file will no longer be displayed in the contract list.

Delete Multiple Files at Once

You can delete multiple files at once from the [Executed contracts] tab. Select the files you want to delete, then click [Delete].

💡Info:

  • You can select and delete up to 50 files (one page) at a time.
