Change File Type or Status of Executed Contracts

This article explains how to change the file type or status of executed contracts in LegalOn.


Requirements

  • Module: Contract Management

  • Eligible Users: All users in a contracted tenant

  • Access Rights:

    • Administrator

    • Editor


Change from the File Detail Page

  1. From the global menu, go to [Contracts] and click the [Executed contracts] tab.

  2. Click the file to open the detail page.

  3. In the top-right, click […] → [Change file type/status].

  4. Select the new file type/status, then click [Change].

The system switches to the duplicated file’s detail page, showing the updated type/status and a confirmation message.


Change from the List View

  1. From the global menu, go to [Contracts] and click the [Executed contracts] tab.

  2. Select the checkbox next to the file you want to change, then click [Change file type/status].

  3. Select the new type/status, then click [Change].

A confirmation message appears, and a duplicated file with the updated type/status is created.

⚠️Notes:

  • The original file will be deleted and stored in [Deletion history of executed contracts].
    For instructions on how to view deleted files, see “Download a list of executed contracts.”

  • Data linked to the original executed contract—such as related matters, similar contracts, related files and special provisions—will not be carried over to the duplicated file.
