[New] Edit workspaces/folder names in bulk

This article describes how IT Admins can edit workspace/folder names in bulk.

Edit Workspaces/Folder Names in Bulk

1. Export CSV file

  1. Go to [Admin Settings][Workspaces], click […], and select [Edit Bulk]

  2. Click [Export]

  3. After the export is complete, open the automated email you receive and click the link inside

2. Edit the exported CSV file

  1. Enter the required information in the downloaded CSV file. Edit the following fields in the CSV file, then save it.

ID (not editable)

ID of the workspace or folder to be edited.

This field cannot be edited.

Directory (not editable)

Shows the hierarchy up to the level just below the top.

Hierarchy levels are separated by “/.”

This field cannot be edited.

Name (updatable)

Enter the name of the workspace/folder to update. (If there are no changes, you don't need to edit this field.)

Description (updatable)

Enter a description of the workspace/folder to update. (If there are no changes, you don't need to edit this field.)

💡Info

  • Max length for workspace/folder names: 100 characters

  • Max length for workspace/folder descriptions: 100 characters

  • Max total number of workspaces/folders (across all levels): 500

  • Bulk update with a CSV file: Import limit 10,000 rows

※ The limits may vary by contract; contact your account manager for details.

3. Upload the edited CSV file

  1. Go to [Admin Settings] [Workspaces], then select […][Bulk Edit]

  2. Upload the CSV file you saved in step 2: “Edit the exported CSV file”

  3. Click [Import]

  4. After starting the import, wait a moment, then click [Reload]

The imported workspaces and folders will appear after reloading.

Troubleshooting

If the CSV file import fails, “Failure” will appear under the “Last Run” column.

Check the “Details” column for specific error messages.
