How to Use "Report"

Updated over 3 weeks ago

This document outlines the report function and its basic usage within the Matter Management Module.

What is the Report Function?

This feature analyzes case data accumulated in Matter Management and visualizes the team's status.

The report function supports the following tasks:

  • Visualize the status of ongoing cases across the entire team to make assignment decisions and detect risks

  • Visualize trends in new and completed cases, as well as individual member performance, to track workload trends and conduct evaluations

Understanding the Report Screen

The Reports section consists of two tabs. Using them according to your purpose helps with appropriate assignments and workflow improvements.

a: Volume

Review historical data (past performance) such as "how many matters were received in the past" and "who processed how many."

For details, refer to "Viewing Reports (Number of Cases)".

b:Workload

Check flow (ongoing) information such as "Who currently has which matters?" and "How many unassigned cases are there?"

For details, see "Viewing Reports (Current Work Status)".

Important Note

The matters aggregated by the report function are limited to those for which the viewing user has "Viewer" or higher permissions. Therefore, the displayed figures may vary depending on the viewing user.

Report Use Cases

Morning status check (Workload)

Check for any unassigned cases or members likely to miss deadlines, then assign tasks or follow up accordingly for the day.

Monthly Review (Volume)

Compare last month's new case count and completed case count with the previous year to understand trends in workload fluctuations.

Check for sudden spikes in requests from specific departments and consider coordinating with business units or strengthening resources.

Member Evaluation & 1on1s (Workload / Volume)

Quantitatively review the number of completed projects (quantity) and adherence to deadlines (quality) to form the basis for feedback.

Check if workload is disproportionately concentrated on specific members and reassess task distribution.
