Changing an email domain

You can change user email domains per user, or in bulk, directly within LegalOn:

Option A: Change all users matching a specific domain

  1. Go to Admin Settings > Users.

  2. Click [...] in the top-right corner and select [Change email domain].

  3. Under [Target users], choose how you want to select users:

  4. Select [All users].

  5. Enter the domain you want to replace in [Target domain].

Option B: Change specific users

  1. Choose [Select users].

  2. Click Select from menu under Users to change and choose the users you want to update. Tip: Enter part of an email address into the search box to filter the list.

  3. Enter the domain in [New domain] and click [Change].

⚠️Notes:

  • SSO users: If you use Single Sign-On (SSO), your Identity Provider (IdP) domain must match your LegalOn domain, or users will not be able to log in. Please update your IdP domain first. For details, see “How to set up Single sign-on (SSO).”

  • User limit: When using Select users, you can select and update up to 100 users at a time.

  • Feature lock during updates: You cannot invite or edit users while a domain change is processing.

  • Processing time: Updates may take some time to complete and appear in your account. Depending on the number of users being changed, this process could take up to a few hours.

Once the domain change request is submitted, notification emails with the processing results are automatically sent to the IT Admin and affected users:
