How to Launch an Assignment Shared By Another Teacher

How to make a shared assignment live for your students to play

When accessing an assignment shared by another teacher, you will be taken to the Assignment Overview page.

On this page, you can view the following information about the shared assignment:

  • Games included

  • Assessments included

  • Standard(s) aligned to the assignment

  • Key vocabulary associated with the assignment

  • Estimated playtime

  • Number of activities

To give students access to this assignment, click the 'Assign to Students' button.

If you are not logged in, you will be taken to the sign-in page upon clicking 'Assign to Students'. If you are new to Legends of Learning, you can create an account before assigning.

This assignment will then open in your account as an editable draft.

Make any necessary changes to your assignment before publishing to students, including adding content, updating the assignment title, changing the dates it will be available to students, and choosing the audience. Click here to learn more about publishing assignment drafts.

Then, click Publish to send the assignment to your students.

Your assignment is now ready for students to complete! For information on how students complete a Legends of Learning assignment, click here.

Once this assignment is Live, you can monitor student progress and performance.
